A Lion Hearted Girl: Mix of Personalities. -

anythingtomakeyoustay:

So out of curiosity, I looked up my Personality type and after reading through many of the types, I do not singularly fall into one personality type.

I am an introvert, but at a 60/30 ratio (introversion/extroversion), so there are days or moments when I am extroverted, but then fall back to…

You’re probably an ENFP.

Actually I obviously have no idea. But that’s my assumption based on this tumblr post. So, take that as you will.

What do you think Sofia Coppola’s personality type is?

non-creative asked: As an ESFJ, is it normal for me to be so interested in the Myers-Briggs test? I am fascinated about learning about my type, and learning about other people's types and learning more about them through learning more about their type. On many forums it seems that people seem to have an idea that an ESFJ can't be an internet person, and while the internet isn't my life, it is an important aspect of it.

I don’t think it’s weird for you to be interested in Myers-Briggs. One of my best friends is an ESFJ and she is very interested in MBTI. I think forums are probably more likely to attract introverts because it’s a way for them to express opinions without having the social pressure that extraverts usually cope with more easily. But I don’t think it’s fair to assume that ESFJs can’t be “internet people”. To be honest, I think introverts can be a little pretentious sometimes about being introverted (I say this as an introvert).

Anyways, the internet is an amazing resource. I love it. It’s an excellent way to learn, interact, etc. Which ESFJs love doing. So the short answer is yes, I think it’s normal. :)

Anonymous asked: Isxp blogs?

None that I know of. I have tried looking for them. My friend and I have a b/vlog called IxFP Tavern — she is an ISFP and we talk a bit about that.

Many accuse Myers-Briggs of confining people to four letters and that for this reason it’s bullshit, when really they are the ones who are confined by ignorance.

Open your brain. Do a little research. Educate yourself. You shouldn’t talk about things that you don’t understand.

theintjway replied to your post: I found out recently that my therapist is an INTJ, which seems pretty unusual based on what I know about that personality type. Why do you think an INTJ would go into this field, considering they tend to not be extremely warm or aware of others’ feelings?
Their motivation was the desire to study people and how they work based on what they think. People are interpersonal systems to an INTJ, again, another system for the system builder :)

I don’t know, that might be something that can’t be attributed to Myers-Briggs. I don’t think that a desire to help and connect and understand others can always be linked to someone’s type. I know an INTJ who is a teacher and they love it - their passion in life is to learn and to help others learn. And sometimes having a Thinker in a position like that can be helpful to people who are constantly talking about their feelings. It could offer a new perspective and prevent said therapist from getting too emotionally involved in the lives of their patients. Which can be a positive thing.

Honestly though, I don’t know. I’m trying my best here, but I could be way off. Interesting question, thanks for sharing.

I wonder what an INTJ would say to this?

I thought this was interesting. I’ve been working lately on trying to figure out INTJs. Actually, more specifically, the INTJs in my life.

: Why you can't be multiple types at the same time. -

mbti-junkie:

Or “switch” between them.

Q: Why? The test i’ve taken clearly said that i’m 50% T and 50% F. It clearly means that i’m INTP and INFP at the same time!
A: You’ve taken a scammy test, which wrongly generalizes Jungian Functions into single letters like T and F, not acknowledging extroversion and…

This is awesome.

IxFP Tavern -

My friend and I have decided to start a vlog/blog. We try not to ramble incoherently too much, but we apologize if we do.
